Hey folks,

For those of you who have been wanting to see what all the fuss was about this summer at our convention appearances, the wait is over. You can now download the Convention Edition of the Cortex System RPG at DriveThruRPG.

The Cortex System is the engine that powers all of our licensed game products, from Serenity to Supernatural. We've bundled this PDF with two versions of the character sheet, three mini-campaigns, rules for cybernetics, psionics, courtroom drama, and low-level superheroes, as well as all the traits and skills you need to build your own campaign from the ground up. Your story . . . Cortex rules.

Cool. Is there going to be another version of this released? Calling this one the convention edition makes me wonder if there will be another edition.

Indeed! We decided to do another, more intensive editing pass on the book and tweak it in a couple of places based on some initial feedback. When that's done, we'll replace the Convention Edition PDF with the new one and everybody who bought the Convention Edition will be notified by email to download their (free) replacement file.

The newer version will have a blue and white cover, instead of the green and white Convention Edition cover. No immediate date for when that one will go to press, though.
