1) Deadlands features some of his antics into the game world (I believe he's supposed to have even wrote for the Epitaph's "weird but true" stories) 2) Not directly, that I can remember 3) As a PC, I'd do him up as a Rogue, same as an NPC, 3rd-5th level tops. 4) A) The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calveras County - Locals gnomes hold a yearly mounted giant frog/rabbit/any other creature that hops, runs or crawls race (no fliers, that's cheating). The prize is a hefty sum of gold, and there are lots of side bets running on the race. Someone though, is trying to take out the competition one by one. The characters are asked to field their own mount (one rider + "pit crew") in an attempt to draw out the perpetrator. B) River Trip via "steamboat" - Characters need to take a vessel from one point to another. The vessel is a powered vessel - whether by magic, alchemy or some other means. While aboard, a dignitary traveling incognito is murdered and the boat is diverted to the closest port. However, it is intecepted by an overwhelming pirate force. Characters need to covertly free the vessel from pirate hands and reveal/capture the assassin on board. C) A local scalawag of a youth has gotten himself in trouble, and rather than face the consequences, has retreated to an abandoned mine just out of time. The youth's parents (with the local official's urgings) ask the character to retrieve the youth. However, it turns out the mine has, in truth, been turned into an outpost for evil humanoids planning to raid the local settlement, led by a vicious half-breed called Injin Joe... And who can forget the Prince and the Pauper? ---- My favorite Twain quote (for it's irony and subject) "Now and then we had a hope that if we lived and were good, God would permit us to be pirates."
