Can't give any opinion on the Hulk since that movie is not in theater yet. Didn't see Daredevil but heard it is darker than what is portrayed in the comics. Seen Spider-Man and Tobey Macguire actually made that role work. I like it enough to buy the DVD. Seen X-Men and recently X2. Love the setup in the first film, including the X-Men going up against the Brotherhood led by Magneto, with the continuing anti-mutant sentiment being played out, which is part of the X-Men thematic element. X2 kicked it up a notch with the mutants against humans, at least between X-Men (with Magneto and Mystique in an uneasy team-up) and Stryker's Group who kidnapped a few of the children from Xavier's School. Of course, the spotlight is focused on Wolverine trying to discover his past and how he came to have the claws. And there is a side story between the young mutant trio of Rogue, Iceman, and Pyro. Despite the appearance of many mutants including Kitty Pryde and Piotr/Colossus. It is not as exciting as the first film but still exciting. The big questions now are whether there will be a third film (production company say most likely) and will Bryan Singer direct it (he says most unlikely). As for my personal assessment, Marvel superheroes are hot commodities in the big screen, while DC Comics struggles with only one current success albeit on the small TV screen (figuratively): Smallville.
