So far I have enjoyed all of the modern marvel movies. X-Men was well done and generally captured the feel of the various characters, even if some of them only felt to be side people. Spider-Man was amazing. Easily supassing the original Batman movie. It captured the character perfectly. Daredevil was... ok. It felt like they tried packing to much into one movie and therefore it felt rushed. Although despite that I enjoyed it and most likely will add it to my collection. X2 was absolutly wonderful. Much like the Spider-Man movie it left me wanting more. Which is always a good sign for a movie to me. :) The Hulk looks like it will be a very interesting movie. From the footage I have seen it looks to capture the Hulk even though they take some liberties. Which isn't exactly a bad thing. I don't see anything wrong with making modifications to the character or the story. I think DC's biggest problem right now when it comes to movies is the fact they are trying to recreate both the Batman and Superman movie franchises. They both had 2 really good movies (Superman and Superman 2, Batman and Batman Retuns) and now should try focusing on other characters. DC has tons of other characters to pick from. I think the Flash would make an excellent movie. As would Firestorm and so many other characters. Marvel seems more willing to branch out with other characters. I know there are rumors of a Iron Fist movie, a Fantastic Four, a Punisher, an Iron man and a few others. They aren't sticking with just a couple characters. Well just needed to ramble on that for a moment. :)
