I've been playing with some ideas to make illusions more powerful, and I thought it'd make sense to put them in a prestige class. Here are my brief thoughts on the subject: Skills: require some ranks in bluff and craft (painting). 7 ranks in each? Feats: Greater Spell Focus (illusion) and possibly skill focus (bluff). Special: must be able to cast three different figment spells. Spells per level, BAB, and saves would progress a la loremaster. Abilities gained at different levels could include: -Interrupted Focus. When you stop concentrating on an illusion with a duration that includes concentration, you may resume concentrating on the spell before the end of its duration without penalty. (Therefore, if the duration is concentration + 3 rounds, you may stop concentrating on it for 2 rounds and then resume concentrating on it, and the spell's duration resets to concentration+3 rounds). -Mobile Illusions. By concentrating on an illusion with an area of effect and a duration, you may choose a new area of effect within range of you in which to apply the illusion. -Shadow Figments. By voluntarily failing your save against a figment you cast, you may infuse part of it with shadow, treating it as real only as regards you and items you equip. Thus you may climb an illusory wall, but the wall will not block incoming arrows. -Advanced Shadow Figments. When opponents successfully save against your figments, they are unable to see through them (normally, figments appear translucent to those who have saved against them). -Master of figments. Your figments are so realistic that other characters may no longer automatically disbelieve them or gain bonuses on saves against them based on communication that the images are illusions. Do these seem like reasonable prestige powers?
