[QUOTE="farscapesg1, post: 2264625, member: 15234"] As has been mentioned earlier in the thread, I've come to the conclusion that Army of Allies is indeed overpowered and will be dropping that option. Also mentioned, I will be dropping the area of Banishment to a 30' radius centered on the caster. Considering the Banishment spell has a range and then affects creatures within 30' of each other, I think this is better balanced. You would be trading the range for a wider area of effect (creatures not having to be within 30' of each other, just within 30' of the caster). Granted, the power may affect more HD than the Banishment spell would normally affect, but this is a 1/day power. I don't think that is too powerful, but if needed I could restrict it to 2 HD per caster level as per the spell. The Denial ability I am reworking to be more of an ability to take control of other summoned creatures. I didn't think that the ability to counterspell Summoned Monster spells would be that bad, but obviously I was wrong ;) The Spell Enhanced Summoning ability will be moved to the 10th-level ability. I admit that this is a very strong power but it can only be used once per day. I am also thinking about limiting it to 4th level and lower spells. Granted, this doesn't fix the worry about getting a "quickened, mass Bull's strength" spell, but since I am dropping the Extra Allies and Army of Allies abilities, that reduces the number of summoned creatures back to the normal 1, 1d3, or 1d4+1. Also, remember that the bonuses from the Augment Summoning feat (and improved abilities based on this feat) and the Bull's Strength spell (and similar spells) are both enhancement bonuses, so they don't stack. Also remember that this class loses two levels of spellcasting and another school of magic the way it is written. For that much of a loss, there should be some strong abilities to make up for it.
