Yep, check out the trailer at the end of the credits of Reloaded, which is on the DVD. There is a voice over on a couple of them that is by the oracle in which she is telling Neo that if doesn’t stop Smith she fears tomorrow may never comer release semi recently covers this as well. I take this easter egg further supports that. I believe that the Neo will find a way for humans and the machines to coexist and Smith stands in the way of that happening. That goes right with Morphs line at the end of Reloaded when the Neb goes destroyed, "I dreamed a dream, but now my dream is gone." That might be a little off, but the spirit is there. I'll check later to correct it. Couple of things I thought of while watching Reloaded on Tuesday ($15 at Circuit City): This first one is wild speculation and is just an idea I don’t buy into myself, but anyway what if Smith/Bane was cutting himself while sneaking up on the crew of the Neb so he could infect Neo, not kill him as it seemed, i.e. a real world method of taking him over the way he tried to in the matrix? Just a wild idea, so don’t go to far tearing it apart. Next, during the Architect’s speech it was generally assumed Neo was right in saying the ‘mother’ of the matrix was the Oracle, but what if it’s actually Persephone? The Architect referred to that program as being more intuitive and she had a definite interest in human emotions, which could easily give her a better understanding of them in general. It would also explain the Architects snide please in response to Neo saying it was the Oracle. Finally this is more of a suggestion, but I think everyone should pay particular attention to the Merovingian’s speech on causality and his rant on choice in particular. If you want to know why look for what number is displayed on the wall when Neo and company step off the elevator onto the floor they meet the Merovingian on. Professor Merovingian anyone?
