Reading a discussion on PF goblins on another forum, some old ideas starting percolating for a one-off goblin adventure where the PCs play goblins in a no holds barred war with another band of goblins (territories are too close). Two bands of opposing goblins over 200 of them in writhing hordes ready for a bloodbath, when a mispoken wish that was a curse against a competitor by gnome merchant in the gnome and merchant town above it has summoned both hordes into the town's main square (from a an unsaid third corrupted wish the gnome was granted with dealings with a nefarious efriti.) "Bugger your import taxes, Lord Mayor, I wish all the goblins in a mile were in your public square right now..." Now both hordes are a 1000 feet higher on the surface and in the town's square about to commence battle. While the PCs are free to kill human and gnome inhabitants, as the latter and their town are more obstacles and terrain features for a goblin vs. goblin war, the goal being to kill the opposing band of goblins. Experience point bonuses granted for spectacular kills, spectacular destructions, spectacular suicides and insane stunts. Of course since their main attention is drawn in eliminating the competing goblins, while the town's inhabitants are at eliminating all the goblins, the odds of survival by the end of the adventure is stacked against them. I could also throw in an optional low level adventure for a party of typical adventurers in a town where two opposing goblin bands at war appear to wreak havoc, while they are passing through... Thoughts? GP
