MEG HAL Question about FFG liscensed products

First Post
MEG HAL,
With Fantasy Flight Games saying that they are no longer going to support the Dragonstar product line, I was wondering if MEG was going to finish producing the Veterans book? The Raw Recruits book was great, and I have been eagerly awaiting veterans. Any info on this would be appricated.

Hi Salcor. Did you see my reply to this at Mortality? If not, I'll repost it here.

MEG was at an ENWorld chat some time ago and it was stated that their deal with FFG was only for 3 modules and then done. Unfortunately, Veterans (if it ever gets released) would be the third. I certainly hope it comes out since I wrote as much for it as I did for Raw Recruits. Otherwise, it appears DS is going to languish for the foreseeable future.

Since they are no longer going to support it, perhaps they will change strategies with it to follow a more Midnight-like approach once MEG is done with their license. For Midnight FFG welcomed fan input like I've never seen a publisher do before.

Actually I just got your reply after I posted this question. (problem with going to different forums that you don't check regularly) I definately liked the raw recruits stuff, but I would like to see the next portion of the adventure. I know dragonstar is no long being supported by FFG, but the fans should be able to keep it alive with PDF releases and such.

I certainly hope DS does not languish completely as I am about to start a campaign! I thought about picking up d20 Future and had it in my hands. but could not bring myself to buy it.... not when I has sci-fi ship rules and tech with dragonstar and many of the races in Future fan-made for DS as well.

Personally, I'd love to see a d20 Future conversion of Dragonstar ... I always thought it'd do better under the d20 Modern flag IMHO :)
