Pantheon and Pagan Faiths is similar, though with a darker edge, to BotR. It will contain some new class options, feats, skill uses, etc. At the heart of it though we have taken the unique and flavorful religous stuff from The Hunt: Rise of Evil and expanded on it tremendously. We have also presented it in a fashion that in no way requires you are using the Hunt even though it is a H:RoE book. First off, we detail birthsigns for characters. These are feats that must be taken at first level and are connected to a heavenly body or constellation. Each has some sort of destiny tied to it for the character that sort of sets them on a path for their future. We then get into The Pantheon, a collection of deities that form one large faith. These deities have sub-sects and lots of political issues with one another but are essentially allied together and are, for the most part family. Next is the Outcast gods, these are the fallen gods of the Pantheon (the group shot of priests with Whisper and Chargrond are amongst these). These are the nastly counterparts of the Pantheon Gods. For instance, Chargrond is the Brother of Barticus- Barticus being lord of the Pantheonic gods. The pair are at odds with one another. Then there are what the Pantheon refers to as Outsiders. These are the gods of the other races and the elemental spirits of nature. Each is detailed along with potential world views etc. One of my favorite parts is the Cults and Covens. These are demi-gods, demons, ancient, nearly forgotten faiths, etc. These are really cool. In regards to this we have also 3.5ved the Witch and Shaman class from the world book and done lots of work on them based on fan feedback. We also reworked the Witchward in the same fashion. We also delve into Saints and Sohpists (fallen angels and evil saints) which players can adopt as their patron. We have optional rules for peity and the dark side of peity for the evil gods. We have something called "True Paths" which are special divine routes for non-divine classe such as Rangers, etc. These are awesome! We present the inqusition of the Pantheon versus the other gods. This book is crammed full with stuff and each god is detailed extremely well with looking into their secrets and what they hold sacred, Their political views and views of one another, there activities in the world and their major players within the religion. There is lots more. The book is going to be 208 pages and hard back and will be going to the printers in a matter of weeks.
