[MEG PR] Hot off the press!

Mystic Eye

First Post
Hi all,

On its way from our printer as of Tuesday of this week are two highly anticipated books. The first is Tarot Magic, part of our Arcane Mysteries series. This book features a new or alternate magic system using tarot cards as well as a great system for using tarot readings within the game. This book feature hundreds of new and unique spells all based around the premise of the tarot deck and its meaning as well as new items, classes, creatures, etc.

The tarot reader looks up at the paladin and whispers,

" Beware David Ames for forces both good and ill surround you and your heart. There is a female who will, or has just, entered your life. You must be very careful with this one, for in her revolves many powerful energies that will greatly affect you. I see that she holds a gold balance that teeters to and fro. But alas! I cannot see what forces surround her as of yet."

"To continue, you have fought bravely and honorably for many long months. You have sent some of your foes to their just punishment, but I see one, foul and diseased, that escaped your sword. I also see that you have obtained some wealth from this foe, some bit of coin or object. It may even be an intangible thing, the foe's power or prestige. Ah yes, I see, I see. You will have a happy moment with your companions and even with your church. But it may not last, for I see that the foe from your past returns to reclaim that which you took. Beware! David, beware!"

NEXT! The long awaited Guilds and Adventures for The Hunt: Rise of Evil. This book details 30 generic guilds that you may find commonly in any campaign. These are structured to be used by both PCs interested in honing some of their non-combat skills to perfection as well as a way to make great allies and henchmen for the PCs. In section two of this book are a group of 11 highly detailed and crafted special societies for adventurers that offer tons of role playing options and intrigue. imbeded in these guilds are tons of new feats, news skills, spells, items, and tons more.

Also.....Don't forget, on shelves right now is the fantastic d20 supers game, Vigilance: Absolute Power, based off the highly rated PDF supers d20 game Vigilance and including not only new material but all of Darkness and Light as well. With 83 new feats, a great combat skill system, and fantastic use of the d20 rules you can play Vigilance as a great stand alone supers game or add its many new elements to any supers d20 based game you own.

Bluffside fans, time to go open your wallets as Dry Land: Empire of the Dragonsand is also in stores now. This 144 page book is as crammed with great information and details and you enjoyed in Bluffside: City on the Edge. Go grab it today.

Veterans? Can you go into any detail as to what that is all about? Is it another adventure/mission-type book like Recruits?

Vets is another book done in the same way as Raw Recruits (With fan an reviewer suggestions considered). It moves up to the mid-levels (6-10) but is not a sequel. It is stand alone and has its own uber-plot, interludes, and four interlocked adventures. We do give a few notes on "continueing the adventure" for those who do want to go from RR to Vets but we designed vets completely seperate from the RR story line.

The other series which starts with Heart of the Machine are entirely stand alone but there will be three of them. I do not know the names of those yet. the "big book" series started with Raw Recruits and is followed by Vets and will have a third titled Elite Force (11-16th level). If it continues to be strong we may add one more taking it up through to level 20.

I don't want to give away the plot of vets yet but it has turned out very cool.

I'm really looking forward to Tarot Magic.

AND I have to drag my butt out to the LGS and score a copy of Vigilance.

Tarot Magic sounds really cool and something that seems long overdue. I cannot wait to get my hands on it.

Thanks! This is a cool book I am glad we were able to create. The author did a great job on this title. It should be at our warehouse on Monday so look for it very, very soon!
