Then she draws herself to her full height, and turns, as if to stride off. Before she goes, however, she turns back, and stepping forward again, grabs the young man's head and pulls him down into a brief but passionate kiss. Grinning, she turns on her heel and walks resolutely away.Peladus laughs as he rubs his reddened cheek ruefully. "She's stronger than she looks," he opines to no-one in particular. Chuckling again in recollection, he signals a waiter and collects a fresh flute of champagne.</blockquote>
