Menace Manual and Dark*Matter?

I don't have the Menace Manual for d20 Modern, but I was flipping through the art gallery for a few minutes this morning while waiting for some other folks to call into a conference call, and was surprised to see the Hoffman Institute logo as one of the illustrations. I was already, from looking at the other pictures, put in mind of Dark*Matter, but that is purely Dark*Matter without question.

Does this mean Dark*Matter has been rolled up into d20 Modern? Elements of it have been borrowed, clearly, but to what extent? Are there plans for a Dark*Matter setting to be put out for d20 Modern (not that I believe that, but I'd certainly jump on that like stink on ... well, you know.)

Here's the Dark*Matter and related stuff from the Menace Manual:

Alien Probe (Fraal probe; foo fighter)
Bodak (undead Fraal)
Elohim
Etoile
Fraal (Grays)
Gardhyi (MIB)
Ghoul (template)
Grimlock (mole people)
Half-Fraal (template)
Kinori
Luciferan
Mothfolk (mothmen)
Sand Slave (sandmen, etoile slaves, template)
Sasquatch
Yeti

Xenoforms supplement for Dark*Matter

Mapinguari
Thunderbird
Harpy
Sea Serpent
Montauk Monster
Revenant
Crawfordsville Monster

Factions:
The Final Church
The Hoffmann Institute

Related Factions:
The CIA
The FBI
FEMA
UN Elite Security Force

The Menace manual doesn't include any conversions for D*M classes and FX however.

I'm starting a D*M campaign using d20 Modern here in NYC and I've been sharing my CharGen document in this thread on the d20 Modern board:

I wonder what the best way to convert the F/X would be, because I agree that besides that, I've got Dark*Matter already in terms I can use with d20 Modern.

I've considered borrowing Cthulhu d20 Sanity, magic and psychic powers and grafting them on in place of the D&D-like magic and psionic advanced classes, and although I like that, I'm not sure it's really very Dark*Matter-like.

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of a skill and feat-based magic system to emulate Arcane and Faith FX and Mindwalking.

I'm planning on tinkering with this over the weekend.

The web enhancement for the Menace Manual, available on the WOTC web page, includes information on converting creatures from Alternity to D20 Modern.

I had a system for exactly this written down, but that was 2 years ago, and I've since lost the document. :(
