After a brief flirt with Arianism (as in follower of Arius, not racial supremism) and Gnosticism, I settled into a more 'traditional' Christian church (Missouri Synod Lutheranism, FWIW). There is a statement Christ made (in relation to driving out spirits, IIRC) that can be interpretted to mean that no tool/method of Satan could ever lead someone to God. Based on that, it only takes a single example of someone led to God by something to prove that it is not "Satan's tool". I am that example for D&D.
