Metamagic feat

Touch Spell [Metamagic]
Benefit: Only spells with a range of personal can be modified by this feat. Any spell modified by this feat gains a range of touch and a target of creature touched.

I am torn as to whether it should add 1 or 2 levels. I am also somewhat torn as to the wisdom of introducing such a feat, as it would allow things like Potion of True Striking, or the cleric walking up to the fighter and casting Righteous Might or Divine Favor on him.

Personally, I wouldn't introduce sucha feat. But if you are I'd make it 2or even 3 spell levels higher then the base spell.

My gut feeling is +2. At +3, I personally as a player would pass it over for another feat that is just as powerful but less restrictive, at +2 I would give it serious consideration, at +1 I would jump all over it (an excellent reason not to put it there).

Make it Epic, and maybe give it some hefty requirements. On its own, it really isn't that bad, but there are too many spells that would be MAJOR problems with it, but not so much at Epic Levels.

Epic is a bit excessive, given that it can be just as easily accomplished with a Ring of Spell Storing.

+2 is probably about right IMO.

I agree with the +2 modifier to spell slot. Also, maybe there could be a prerequisite for taking the feat that the caster already has 2 or 3 metamagic feats?

I would make this at least +3 modifier and no lower. This would mean you can cast true strike or shield on the fighter. That certainly sounds like at least a 4th level spell.

I have to agree - +3 levels and at least 2 other metamagics before you can take this. I'm cringing at how badly you can break the game with this thing with just a casual perusal of the "personal" spells.

And that's just STARTING with True Strike. True Strike alone...

Just think of a fighter with Full Power Attack, Full Defensive on at the same time, and still hitting the target with almost certainty... and being able to do this almost every round...

Probably okay for a 4th level spell though.
