Alright... so it's been ages since I last ran an MiB game for our gaming group. Warning this will be a long read. Agents: Agent M: The de-facto "leader" of the group, assigned by Zed to work with her fellow agents to both get more field experience and learn greater responsibility. Has been trying to give the RiB (intelligent rats with human brains used by MiB for gruntwork, avail;able from agency vending machines) inspiration to unionize. Disinformation Officer (gets to use the neuralyzer). Agent C: An alien agent that resembles a raccoon cub. Due to her small size, she's really good at reconnoiter mission that require access to small grates. Became friends with Agent M. Obsessed with cleanliness. Agent X: Light-sensitive humoid appearing agent with a fondness for Earth chocolate, learned Earth culture by watching spaghetti westerns. Proficient marksman, interest in thrown weapons like grenades. Agent G: Mild mannered G normally works the diplomatic angle via food-- head agent in charge of MiB cartering, earth gourmet. Recently discovered to have a second personality-- "Captain Chaos" (yes, like from Cannonball Run). While out on assignment, the group was cornered casugin the Captain Choas personailty to come out (complete with outfit) and help pummel the mind-mob threatening the agents. Zed doesn't know about this 2nd personality... yet. Agent V: Another alien agent, uses a holo-disguise in the form of a belt (that can short ciruit if jostled too hard). Looks like he'd eat you in two seconds flat, but is actually a vegtarian. Feild of specialty is alien languages and cultures. Agent Y: Human demolitions expert. Knowledge on blowing stuff up is second to none. Knowledge of MiB policy? Not so good. The last 2 adventure had the PC meet a "cleaner van" in a cornfield to take the "Critter" like aliens cpatured alive for study... the aliens were found in a facility along with this video and then proof that the Dharma Initiave was reborn under the much more sisnster "Kharma Imperative" (long time plot device to introduce a mad scientist group). They were immediately whisked to meet two alien film stars (Arquilianplanet ) (William Shatner and a recently popular starlet) that had returned planetside to escort them to a favorite Earth restaurant-- turns out that film stars that had homes on Earth and Arquilla had been mysteriously "disappearing", and were promised escorts to smooth over MiB/Arquilla relations. Dinner went off without a hitch, agents pumped the stars for some information on the disappearances, and then before they could answer, a small mob of what looked like protestors that had been picketing the restaurant swarmed inside and a large brawl ensued. IN the confusion, two disguised aliens attempted to star-nap the actors. The actors were spirited away to safety, but the abductors got away. There was a big mess and lots of nueralyzing to be done, but the mission was a success. So... I can't find my notes, and I now realize I have a game to run on the 24th and no idea where to take it. Since the gamiong group is used to a bit of Monty Hual style play, and it's been 3 adventures and they haven't gotten any unique weapons and gadgets, I figured that plot a would be MiB R&D giving them each a unique weapon or gizmo to test. BUt where can I go from here that I can get a whole coimpelling mission from. Normally I'm not stumped, but I've had writers block for a month! Barring that, weapon gizmo ideas could help too. Here's what I have so far: Agent M: Gets the RiB launcher-- like a grenade laucher, put catapults an RiB instead. 5 to a launcher, range of 100 feet. Agent C: A "bubble gun".. but instead of cleaning things, traps hostiles in an otherdimensional "bubble" for a brief amount of time, much like a force field. Agent V: A probability grenade, ala from Paranoia. PLot or gizmo ideas would be GREATLY appreciated-- writer's block sucks.
