(Also, is the ranger level just to meet deepwarden prereqs?)  If I understand the concept right he is meant to be a tough, durable, high AC/HP tank, but I think the flavor alone from UP/Bone Knight would make that more fun than a guy who excels at "standing there and taking it."  Of course I could just be totally wrong about the roles you see them playing, so feel free to set me straight.@EvolutionKB - Ah found it.  PrCs in that book can be tricky to find using the table of contents...the index works much better.  <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)"  data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":)" />  Anyway, that PrC is fine.</blockquote>
