OK everyone Ive closed the game. Manzanita, Mizquiztli, Uriel, and Creamsteak feel free to create characters. Thels, I wanst sure if you wanted in or not. If you want to join you may-I was shooting for 4 but 5 is ok. That said, heres a little picture of kobolds I had in mind-their appearance is a straight rip off of kobolds from the MMORPG Dark Age of Camelot. Less like hobbits/minature Englishmen and a bit darker, inverterate tricksters, and habitual thieves-although not as bad a say kenders. Short, and with a furry skin ranging in color from grey to cobalt blue, but still mechanically halflings. Also for human characters, I sort of envision this world as obviously Norse in culture, manners, language, etc. And while this world is united culturally it isnt politically. And as the map above kinda shows there is a (mythic) Ireland(Celt-ish), Britain(Germanic-ish), Norway((Scandanavia-ish), and Biarmlaland (roughly Finnish/Russian/Slavic lands). So your PCs could come from non "Scandanavian" land but still be throughly Norse in outlook, religion, etc. (this may prevent everyone from being named Lars or Ulaf :) A good illustration of this relativr diversity of the Norse world would be the movie 13th Warrior and the various 13. But the only human language is Norse, the Common tongue. Also for half elves I sort of picture only half drow. It seems high elves would be too aloof to couple with men. But this isnt set in stone , a normal half elf per the PHB would be perfectly fine. And please if possible, Id like some diversity in character classes. I want everyone to play what they want, but a game with 3 fighters and a beserker gives us a limited skill set. Surely someone wants to be a skald ! :) Enough rambling thanks.
