[Midnight] Pre-published modules appropriate for Midnight?

Wondering if y'all have any suggestions about pre-published adventures that could be "ported" into Midnight?

I don't need conversions, I'm looking for plots that are evocative of the mood and flavor of the setting (heck, I'd probably re-write the module to fit in Midnight anyway).

(I have practically every issue of Dungeon magazine, so those adventures are fair game as well.)

Any suggestions? Please? Thanks!

The one that instantly struck me as appropriate for Midnight was The Grey Citadel by Necromancer Games. Others that have some possibility are: The Crucible of Freya, also by Necromancer and Tales of Freeport by Green Ronin. I am going to use The Crown of Shadow and then probably The Grey Citadel.

Funny you should ask, as this very subject is being at the premiere Midnight fansite here.

http://www.againsttheshadow.org is the coolest site for the game around, so check it out.

And for more shadowy goodness, check out the PbP link in my sig. Wil Upchurch (who co-wrote the setting) is actually one of the players!

I can't believe I beat Krug in posting this reply. Lazy dwarf...

*snicker* Yeah, I know--that's where I stole the idea from! :D

Morpheus -- I just purchased Grey Citadel (hasn't arrived in the mail yet--I love online purchasing, *lovelorn sigh*). Any particular reason *why* you feel GC is appropriate for Midnight?

Strange as it might sound, I'm going to look over my old WEG Star Wars adventures to mine them for ideas (they tended to focus more on the Rebellion Era than WotC does)...and (as suggested on the Midnight fansite) my old MERP modules.

The tone, the city itself and one of the three mysteries are actually themes in Midnight. I won't say which mystery-what with all the people who hate spoilers and all. I think you will enjoy it.

The first Midnight module is a great introduction to the world. There are a few Necromancers modules that have evil plots behind a mystery that could easy be redifined as a trapped demon or creature working for the Shadow.

Yeah I think Crown of Shadows is going to introduce the players well into the world. For anybody that has run it, could you provide some advice into how to get players into the appropriate mindset, and how did the adventure run for you?

As for the GC, what is that adventure about? I never heard of it.

The Grey Citadel is an adventure just released by Necromancer Games that takes place in a city called Dun Eamon. Here's the quote from the back cover:

"The Grey Citadel is a mini-campaign of urban detective work and dungeon exploaration designed for four or more characters of 5th level. Set in a rain-soaked, rough-and-tumble frontier city, the Grey Citadel offers numerous colorful NPCs, a richly unique location, new monsters and magic items-plus enough plot twists to provide hours of role-playing and door-kicking adventure, where you wits must be as sharp as your swords!"
