It's got a lot of good ideas... too many, in my opinion. For one thing, this is obviously built for a Defender/Channeler (Spiritual). It's bonuses support both classes heavily. For one thing, he gets five free spells, 10 more spell points from the class, and it counts as channeler levels for calculation of the highest castable spell. Then you add all the special abilities on top of that. Midnight balance is something I'm still trying to get a handle on; rare-magic and enhanced PC power is difficult for me to grasp. So take that with a grain of salt. Here are some other things I noticed, though: A) Transcend Gravity and Nullforce Aura have a really bad mechanic. You need to revise the duration in some way -- tieing it to Concentration seems like a good fit to me, as well. How about something like a DC 10 +1/round maintained? The "equal to the Adept’s Concentration bonus" is badly defined. What do you mean by "bonus"? Is that total modifier, ranks, or true bonuses to that score? B) Denial of Existence and Will are both based on the will save of the character. IDHTBIFOM, but I believe the Defender has a good will save. So does the Willforce Adept. Thus, his Will saves are bound to be really good. (Throwing in Channeler levels only increases this problem.) I'm not sure how to correct this, but playing "dueling Will Saves" when you know your character has the best on the block seems a bit easy to me. C) Denial of Will needs better definition. Is the Willforce Adept damaged by the negative energy burst? Also, do you mean "deals 1d6 per 2 HD of the target" in damage? Because I couldn't figure out what you meant on damage there. -------------------------- All in all, I like the class. And Denial of Will is probably the best expression of Neo vs. Smith at the end of "The Matrix" that I have ever seen in D&D terms.
