Might & Magic V and dual core processors

I am about to install and play this game for the very first time. My question is are there any issues you know of that this game has with a dual core processor?

I did do research but I can't find an answer to my question. Thanks.

I'm running World of Xeen on my main computer (dual-core) and have no problems - but I'm running it in DosBox. When I tried to simply install the game and run under Windows XP, nothing worked. I think it was an issue with the sound, but since DosBox worked, I didn't waste time figuring it out.

Well it seems to be doing fine with a dual core AMD Athlon 3800+. What amazed me was the amount of patches which were 7 in all at a total of over 350 mb for fixes!

BTW it is possible to "pin" applications to one core or another if multi-core cpus are causing problems. This tells you how.

IIRC, M&M V was just an extremely buggy game when first shipped. Which is probably why there's so many patches for it.
