When the GM of the GURPS group I'm in hands over the GMing reigns, I plan on politely bowing out. I'm sure the reason he wants to stick to GURPS is that he knows that everyone in the group knows it, and unfortunately I'm both a little bored with the system and disappointed that he didn't ask if sticking to the same system was okay with us.
Although I do have a decent amount of games in my collection, here is what's ready to go in my apartment (and thus faster to get):
* Forbidden Kingdoms (D&D 3.x pulp novel emulation metasetting)
* HARP Fantasy
* Tri-Stat dX
* World of Darkness (I have Changeling: the Lost and Changing Breeds)
* World Tree (d20 based Ars Magica with anthropomorphic animals, not part of the d20 system)
If you think you've seen this list before, you're probably right. Depending on group size, we might be able to meet in my apartment, but if it's larger some community space (like a restaurant) might be better. I like gaming on weekends, but my current schedule actually allows the possibility of weekday evening games. Generally I prefer a string of related adventures to a full on campaign, and find my sweet spot is a 4-5 hour session.
For more information about the kind of game I like running, swing by my profile. Thank you for reading.
