Mind Blank question

Does Mind Blank protect you from Illusions? Obviously it doesn't fully protect you from Shadow spells, as they're partially real, but do you automatically disbelieve for 3/5 damage or whatever? What about spells like Mirror Image or Invisibility, do they still work against someone that is Mind Blanked? Inquiring minds want to know! Thanks,

Given that it mentions:

The subject is protected from all devices and spells that detect, influence, or read emotions or thoughts. This spell protects against all mind-affecting spells and effects

Mind Blank would protect against any spell that has the [Mind-Affecting] descriptor, which includes such illusions as Phantasmal Killer, but would not protect against spells such as Minor Image or Mirror Image.

Okay, another question. True Seeing and See Invisible are both divination spells, yes? If I'm affected by Invisibility AND Mind Blank, then True Seeing and See Invisible won't see me, correct?

Depends on who you ask.

Some people say no, others say yes.

I believe that True Seeing and See Invisible trump Mind Blank. Others disagree.

Definitely not. Illusions (such as Silent Image, Mirror Image, or Invisibility) do not target the people they're trying to trick. They are actual images in the world that have no need to get past a Mind Blank.

If I'm affected by Invisibility AND Mind Blank, then True Seeing and See Invisible won't see me, correct?

Now, on this subject there's a lot of debate. About half the respondents come down on either side if this issue. Okay, cool. Thanks for the responses and the link. I'll have to consult my DM, see if I can convince him that Mind Blank foils See Invis/True Seeing.

The coolest thing about mind blank imho, is that if your bad guys go around mind blanked all the time, your pcs won't be able to find out who they are via contact other plane, commune and the like.

But I would say mind blank trumps see invisibility- it trumps just about everything.
