The last miniature I painted was a good year ago...
I tried doing one a few weeks back and found that my hands now shake so badly and I have so little tactile sensation (Neuropathy is a horrible disorder) that my first miniature...looked bad. Really bad. I went to try and paint the head....and realized that I couldn't actually hit the head...I had flesh base color on his chest, his back and his feet...but couldn't hit the head. It's actually really darn frustrating.
All I can say is thank goodness for the plastic pre-painted miniatures...they may not look as nice or detailed, but they are a darn sight better than what I can paint lately.
