Miniatures & Battlemaps

We're getting to ready to start a superhero campaign for the first time. We like to use minis for fantasy already, so i was wondering what makes some good additions for a M&M campaign. Are there good pre-made street maps for miniatures? Or modern buildings or banks or anything like that?

By the way, how does one get battlemaps printed off in a single large sheet, if so desired? Although more costly, i think i might prefer this to printing them out piecemeal and taping them together.

Heroclix seems like the obvious choice, here. They've got several maps to go along with their superhero figs.

There's a great number of modern maps available, though most are pdf documents. Which ones to go with depend upon your scale and style.

Heroclix will work well for representations of superheroes. It's rare to get a figure that accurately represents each character but it does work, and the fact that flight is designed into the character bases already is useful too.

They aren't mini's scale, but the maps from Critical Locations (d20 Modern) are all pretty good. You could always get them enlarged.

I was lucky to get about 2/3 of them when they were free in Dungeon or on the WotC website.

Second Rat Games' People Places and Things: You are Here has 29 modern maps and all are available in a 1" battlemat scale.

Hmm...so HeroClix comes with maps already? That sounds like a good deal. I'll also look into the Second Rat map thing.
