Miniatures Handbook?

Does anyone out there have an idea of what this will be like? The ad in the current Dragon mentions new core classes, monsters, spells, etc. It also talks about rules for skirmishing and Mass Combat.

Can anyone confirm that this will have Battlesystem type rules in it that will allow me to DM a war with the PCs as generals?

If its Battlesystem 3e, I'll get it immediately, since I'm running the Bloodston series. If its just Chainmail repackaged with a half-chapter about mass combat, screw it.

Do yerself a favor and check out Malhavoc's Cry Havoc rules. I'm not normally a fan of Malhavoc products, but this one is very, very good at what it does.

I couldn't help but notice that the picture in Dragon 310 looks an awful lot like the recent revamp that GW did to their Warhammer Fantasy Army Books...

That's not to say that the Miniatures Game is nothing but a copy of WH, I'm just guessing they're trying to get sales purely on a subliminal association.

Personally I'll wait to get the chance to leaf through the book as well as read reviews before I form any opinion on its merit
