Message: <blockquote data-quote="Uruush" data-source="post: 796327" data-attributes="member: 42140"><p>I'm working on a campaign where the only PC races are Human, Dwarven, and Taurian  (No other humanoid races exist except the Drakkon, the Dragon Men).  Taurians will basically be a Chaotic Good Minotaur race.  The DMG set up for Minotaur characters indicates that an starting Minotaur character would be equivalent to 8th level.  The campaign is going to start with 8th level characters, so this will work, but I'm wondering if anyone else thinks that is a bit high for Minotaurs.  Does it use a formula later revealed in Savage Species?  If 8 doesn't seem high to y'all, do you have some recommendations for toning them down so that a starting Taurian in my campaign could pick up one or two class levels?</p></blockquote><p></p>
