I just treated the "side" platforms as smaller ones leading up to the main platform. This had zero impact upon my game.
I think the main issue I had with this module was that the three churches were right next to each other. There is a stack of good threads on the Paizo site with DMs chipping in how they dealt with it. In the end, I took the caves out of there and put them outside of Diamond Lake, left the Hextorites as the most obvious inhabitants whilst up the other end directly under the platform mentioned above, I had the secret entrance to the labyrinth. Upon entering the labyrinth, I had a magical effect teleporting the PCs into different areas of the Labyrith. This was a lot of fun as the PCs tried to join up with one another whilst defending themselves against the Vecnarites. On a side note, the picture of the dire weasel inspired me in a rather strange way. If you look at it in a particular way, it looks like a two headed dire weasel with glowing eyes. As such, I made up a two headed fiendish dire weasel (using savage species) and boy was that thing deadly but fun. It attacked the lone cleric who then started screaming for help. Before you knew it, all the kenkus were mimicking the cleric as he proceeded to almost die in a pool of his own blood. By chance, two of the PCs managed to save him.
By the way, two thumbs up for the module. While there were a few minor issues in terms of editting etc. the nucleus of the module was absolutely brilliant. Best Regards Herremann the Wise
