Mix and Match DnD and d20 Modern?

I havn't seen D20 Modern yet, but I've read some article on it. So, is it possible to mix the two? or use D20 Modern in a DnD setting?


I still feel D20 is gurps in disguise.

A lot of people would disagree with you, especially GURP fans.

But the formula of using one rules system for all your RPG product has worked for Steve Jackson Games as well as other RPG companies: White Wolf has Storyteller, Palladium has Megaversal, Chaosium has BRP, etc.

As for your question, it is possible. However, it is unknown if it will be easy or less difficult.

The Second World book will make mixing and matching the two much easier, as it'll have specific conversion rules.

one of my plans for d20 Modern is to use it for a fantasy world. i figure i'll also be stealing liberally from D&D to make it work. i don't foresee any major problems.
