Mixed-Blooded

So far, in the campaigns I have ran/played, there have been several intersting mixed blooded characters that have shown up. (Most of them NPC's) One such was a Human Half-feind/Half-Illand and another was a half-Celestial/Half-feind/Half-dragon (Mother was an unwilling astral deva and the father was a feindish black dragon)

What interesting Mixed-Bloods have you seen or made, and how ofent does that happen any ways.

One game we had a human/tiefling fighter barbarian who later gained the abilities of a Shade (Forgotten Realms) and went around looking weird (also had a third eyeball in the middle his forehead from a weird cloud, probably from the BOVD, that caused the mutation), and dripping shadow all over the place. He was the weirdest one.


Right now, I'm playing a human turned half dragon. It was after a chance meeting with the Faerunian gods (and the party that included the human/tiefling) and she came out a half silver dragon after that. The DM's planning that she was one all along and the "change" suddenly "manifested itself" as her father was actually a silver dragon polymorphed into a human. And it was him as a human that she knew of him. She doesn't know of his "true nature" yet. Not unless she decides to return home one day.

There once was a succubus named Nezru. She was smitten once by a human, and had a child, a daughter. Knowing that devils, celestials, and rampaging adventurers would attempt to strike at her through her family, she gave away her daughter to a relative of her husband to be raised as the other woman's child. Though still evil to the core, Nezru was overcome by motherly instincts, and watched over her daughter from afar, assuming disguises whenever she checked in on her. The half-fiend daughter married another human, and had a teifling daughter. The tiefling grand-daughter of the succubus married another human, having a child, a boy this time.

Nezru's children continued to age and die as time passed by, and Nezru mourned their passing. She was a beast of pure evil, but even evil mothers care for their offspring. Her instincts never waned with the passing of the years, and she continued to watch over her progeny from afar.

Some people have guardian angels. Thadeous Blackwood (Male Human CG Warlock 8) has a guardian demon.


(Not technically a half-blood, but this backstory is one of my favorites for any of my characters)
