In a limousine, Headed south along Route 86 just outside Salton City The Dord found himself in was situation was awkward, to say the least. In the hour and a half since he was picked up by the limo, Dord's companion said scarcely a word to the costume hero. Instead, the balding man who appeared to be in his late thirties spent almost the entire time speaking to various people on his cellphone. As the limo turned off the highway and into Salton City, the man received a phone call. "Tell me some good news." The man smiled. "Alright, we'll meet at Freedom Theater, but I will need you to get in contact with Captain Superior's handlers. If we have the footage you say we do, then Captain Superior's handlers will need to know that if they want to play ball with us, they will do it under my terms. There is no way in hell that they determine what Superior's appearance fee will be and if they do not accept what we offer then we will include the type of bullet that was used on him in our broadcast. Is that clear? Good." Then man then pressed a button on the counsel beside him. "Yes, Mr Diceman?" "Hoag, head to the theater. The ball's now in our court." "As you wish." Richard Diceman glanced at Dord, "I hope you don't mind being dropped off in Salton City.
