As the clearly-powerful man who owned the limo continued to ignore him, Max became increasingly self-conscious. With the exception of the orange glide-wing harness (which really was cool, he thought), his costume wasn't much of a costume: He had the color scheme more or less right: dark reds with a little black mixed in. But at the end of the day, he was basically just a guy in a mock turtleneck, cargo pants, and a pair of hiking boots. His mask wasn't even a proper mask, but just his night vision goggles with the night lenses flipped up. Honestly, he just felt ... small. That's when he realized he'd been shrinking without meaning to. At the moment, he was around the size of your average six year old. Max regained his normal size (which, at 5'8" still wasn't particluarly heroic, but better than looking like a hobbit) as he cleared his throat and smiled. "My name, fair citizen, is Dord, Master of Density!" Max announced, doing his best impression of an A-list Archon. "You happened upon me while I was preparing to test my latest crime-fighting equipment in a remote--ow!" This time, Max had been unconsciously growing as he tried to make an impression, until he smacked his head on the limo roof. With a soft 'foomp,' he went normal again, blushing. "Sorry. That still sometimes happ ... anyway, I put the gliding cape-wings together in my friend's garage. I've been testing them out, and they're working really well, only today I caught a thermal and went really, really high, so I was scared to just shrink down and fall, so I just sort of went with it. But with all the cross-winds, I got turned around, and I didn't realize I was still gliding further away from Westwood until I was really far away. "Then there was the flock of geese, but really, I'd rather not talk about that if you don't mind. "Anyway, I finally touched down and was sort of wandering 'cause I couldn't get cell signal, even super-big, so I couldn't work the GPS in my phone. And when you're a couple-dozen feet tall, it doesn't take long for walking the wrong direction to get you extra lost, you know? "And ... um, anyway.
