I haven't done this for D&D, but I've done something similiar for my Feng Shui campaign. I used the MS-06 Zaku II as a type of Abomination (1) and used three of them against the PCs. The PCs recently made a foray into the future dystopia of 2056 to get their ally, Dr. Henry Jones IV, out of the clutches of the Architects of the Flesh. (I'll skip the detailed retelling for now. To suffice, I'll say this: if it were not for the savage determination of Iori Yagami (2) and Himura Kenshin (3) then all five PCs would've died and Dr. Henry Jones IV (4) would've doomed the present and the past to a very ugly existance after he broke under torture.) My approach, to bring this out of a non-D20 discussion, was that I transformed the mobile suit into a Giant-type humanoid creature of Large size. I mimicked the mobile suit's capabilities as best I could by using the host system's equivalents. In D20 terms this would be a fair amount of Damage Reduction (to mimic the Zaku's general immunity to anything short of MS-scale weaponry, save for a well-placed shot by an AT weapon or a grenade), a decent Speed rating (a Zaku could keep up with a cruising tank with ease), good physical stats (IMO, about equal to a fire giant), and some damn good weaponry. (The Heat Hawk could easily be a Keen Sure-Striking battleaxe, the Cracker is a scaled-up flare/bomb, the 120mm machingun is beyond the scope of what D20 material that I have on hand and so is the bazooka.) FS is a gun-friendly game, so converting the MG and bazooka was quite easy to accomplish. I intend to convert the Gouf and Gouf Custom next for when I have the PCs defend the Dragons HQ from a concert Architect assault. Footnotes:

"Abomination", in this context, means "a Chinese demon transformed into a combat cyborg by one of the BBEG factions".
Yes, the one from SNK's King of Fighters franchise.
Yes, the one from the OVA and TV series.
No, not the one from the movies, but rather his grandson; Indy's an old man in the campaign, and he is a tragic hero-turned-villain.
