Howdy.... As someone who DOES have something to gain from each purchase, I'll say that I don't know who Tuculus is, though I do appreciate the comments. I'm Charles Baize (the editor, and the husband of the author), and I'm not going to post my thoughts on the relative worth of the product, though I hope people do give it a look. As it is my wife's book, I tend to hope that Tuculus was inspired to post by her brilliant writing. :D But I won't try to speak for that poster (the only people we know in New Jersey don't game.... I think...). Anyway.... just to set the record straight, and all. :) I can't remember what my first post was... but I think mine might have been touting the worth of a game product, as well, even though I wasn't getting anything from it. Ah, well... welcome, Tuculus, hope you stick around and post some more. We do appreciate these comments, but don't be afraid to let us know what you'd like to see MORE of, as well. We dig seeing what we did right, but feel free to let us know where we were weak in the product along with it. If there's a second (Carrie is already working on it, but it will depend on sales, of course, as to whether or not RPGO will want to release it), then the comments about what it needs more of will help, immensely. We also welcome comments from anyone else who has purchased Modern Backdrops, and would like to let us know what they liked or didn't like... We'd certainly like to see more than, "It was cool." or "It sucked rocks.", such as the whys and wherefores. Anyway... enough rambling from me. Enjoy the book, man.. and let us know what we need more of.. I can't promise anything except that we'll take all comments into consideration.
