I've read the blurb twice, and still have no clue what it is.

I've never heard of OGL contacts before.

A dozen NPCs that can be used _just_ as NPCs and the contact rules adapted to Modern.

These rules give PCs a number of contacts based on the PCs' level.

The OGL contact rules are from Unearthed Arcana. They give you a number of contacts based on your level, with certain classes getting contacts every 2 levels and others getting contacts every 4 levels.

The contacts book takes these rules, adapts them to d20 Modern, and provides you with some sample contacts.

The new Ronin Arts series of low cost d20 Modern PDFs are really great, Phil. I'm reading through them today!

Thank you. I know James, Bruce, and Michael have more in the works. And I'm planning a few myself.

Thank you for this! I'm never sure if a message board post stating the title of a book is right or wrong.

I got it, looked it over, and posted a bit of a review on it to their product page when it came out.

Short-short version? I liked it. I've always liked contacts. My only complaint is that contacts become a full fledged class ability for Charismatic heroes, who have a plethora of contacts, while Smart heroes won't get their first contact until 5th level. And if you multiclass Smart/Non-Charismatic? Hoo.

Pretty nice, otheriwse.
