Modern d20 Systems-- The Future

Sirmaxim4

First Post
I recently read about a post Modern apocalypse game called THE END (looks pretty cool- post biblical apocalypse- the seals are cool), but it got me thinking about Modern d20.

Soon there will be Spycraft, Call of Cthulu d20 (somewhat Modern). WE already have semi-moderns like Pulp d20. What other mofern like settings (The End) are we likley to see. Would someone be interested in compiling a feat and skill or equipment library from these sources? Is someone doing this already?

Yeah, d20 Modern was previewed in a recent Dungeon magazine....

There's also another pulp game coming from Otherworld Creations (in addition to the one in Dungeon).

I'm not sure how compatible they will be with each other, though.

Deadlands & WW are fairly compatible, since they are both from the same company.

But comparing the weapon stats from that game to the ones in Spycraft light, they are nothing alike...

Here's 3

Well I know of 3 that would fit into the Modern category or at least what I consider modern.........

SideWinder from Citizen Games This is set in the American old west ala Boot Hill, it's your average cinanatic western RPG but wouldn't be to hard to add elements of sci-fi (Wild Wild West) or Horror (Deadlands or Texarcana[from the heavy Metal mag.]) to it.

Forbidden Kingdoms from OtherWorlds Creations This is the D20 Pulp RPG you were talking about, looks to be really good has a different take on Firearms use as they use a Skill rather then a Feat. Both it and Sidewinder use Vitality like Star Wars.

Urban Combat by TrollLords Games Not sure as the announcement just came out but I think this is a setting more then a game (Steve didn't make it clear). It's set in Memphis after everthing has gone down the tubes as it was. Other then that I haven't a clue but if it's from Troll Lords it gotta be good ! ( Hey I gotta help my home Boys okay !)

I'll add the URLs to the above in a few but I got the first 2 as topics at my board.
