Modern Dispatch

First Post
After a brief respite, I have re-subbed for Dispatch. I must say the quality has not lagged one bit and, in fact, seems improved.

I wasn't sure if the multi-publisher tact would work out, but my fears were baseless. I find each issue interesting at the least--and more often, very useful. I have no idea what level of coordination exists behind the scenes, but I wanted to say to all of the publishers involved that the combined delivered product is superb!

I haven't seen much splash for Dog House Rules since the Sidewinder release. I know they have their own periodical (or used to). Has there been any discussion to include them in Modern Dispatch? That would be a nice genre add IMO.

I've purchased a couple of the Modern Dispatch issues and can say the ones I've seen are very well done. Of course with the publishers involved with this endeavor that would be expected.

Dog House Rules has been pretty busy since the release of Sidewinder: Recoiled in February 2004. In the Branded for Recoiled line we have released two Frontier Towns products and two Fort Griffin Echoes (one of them FREE). We are currently working on the initial release of a new product called Buckshots which are bascially adventures for the Wild West.

Now that may not seem like alot of products when stacked up against some of our counterparts, but for us it's a pretty good load. We have four "part-time" writers/developers and one "part-time" layout and graphics guru. Most of our products have stacked up with a pretty good page count and we are sticklers for our historical accuracy and with our editing...Tom won't let us get away with squat!

So we may have been quiet since our last release in December 2004, but we are still cranking away.

Thank you. Chris (at RPGObjects) has done a great job of coordinating everything.
