Modern or Near Future Campaign

I think Star Wars Saga Edition is the best choice. It is a system I have extensive experience with, and can be really easily refluffed to make a whole slew of different settings.

I'm the lead designer for a Modern/Sci-fi system called OMEN RPG. If you guys are interested in being a playtest group, I could give you the current version (although it is still a WIP). It has rules for all of those things listed above.

But, for a wide selection of classes, character options, equipment, factions, etc, I would totally go for SWSE. Whatever the case, have fun!

Hmmm, gumshoe... I think i heard of that one. Wasn't there a thread on these boards of some one who played it and chased down a bad guy ontop of a roof. There was rain and they attempted to shoot the badguy. Im not describing it nearly as well as the original poster. I remember something to the effect of the character dramatically says "I pull"

You're thinking of Dread. Maybe my favorite game, but only for horror one-shots.

When I'm at my PC I'll link you to Gumshoe info. If you want Spy vs Spy with some Rambo, it's at least worth reading the Night's Black Agent book.
