Our group met today and got a little further on the age of wyrms adventure. A couple things happened that are just too good to not share. We walk into a local bar looking for a group of people when an elvish woman approaches our sorcerer and starts hitting on him. Now, you have to realize that the person playing the sorcerer is 12, the rest are adults. The conversation goes something like this: "Hey there handsome", she says. "Who are you?", was his reply. "How about I buy you a drink?", signalling to the bartender, "Give me an ale for my friend." The player not knowing what to do keeps asking us for help OOC. The DM treating all spoken words as in-character has this seductress say, "Why do you keep asking your friends, can't you make your own decisions?" At this point we are laughing. Not knowing what to do he finally speaks up about the ale.... "No thanks, I'm a vegetarian" It took about 5 minutes to get everyone under control. Later.... In that bar we see the group we want to talk to. A fight breaks out and we luckily win. The surviving enemy ranger surrenders and we take him prisoner. My character is a 7'5" Half-Giant that has enlarged himself to 14' tall. Explaining my actions to the DM, "I take the ranger and interrogate a chair over his legs, interrogate him into the wall and out the bar. I then interrogate him into the hitching post and into the dark alley where we can talk without being interrupted." Laughter ensued. Even later still... We were exploring an old abandoned observatory and found some cheese and moldy bread in the kitchen. Out of character the cleric's player says, "Look, I've discovered penicillin". The game had to stop for another few minutes so that we could regain our composure.
