They were panned pretty good, but givin a plus for tons of new monsters and a unique magic item generator. So I waited and got it dirt cheap on ebay for a song. The reviews were right. Not that good. But the monster and magic item section was worth the $8.00 IMHO.9) Post questions here. Us GMs will be more than happy to give honest feed back on the value of a book.
