Hi guys,

April is close, so it must be time to see what is being released next month;

Quintessential Cleric
April is very much Sam Witt (Chaos Magic) month at Mongoose, with no less than three releases penned by him! The first of these is The Quintessential Cleric, the third book in the series, guaranteed to give all faithful characters a new lease of life. Full rules are presented for building a congregation, taking advantage of their faith through hymns and building magnificent temples to house them within - clerics must finally meet the full obligations of their faith, though they benefit from doing so. Those clerics who go against the wishes of their deity must beg forgiveness to avoid becoming one of the Fallen and any of the faithful may take advantage of offering sacrifices to their god in order to gain divine favour. The Quintessential Cleric is jam-packed full of new rules and options for divine spellcasters, and fully fleshes out this character class.

The Slayer's Guide to Bugbears
This was actually the first book Sam wrote for us, way back last August, and is set to be one of the best Slayer's Guides yet. With evocative cover art from Anne Stokes, these monstrous goblinoids are brought to life as every aspect of their lives and society are examined in detail. The Dark Ranger prestige class is certain to give players a nasty fright when they believe they are battling just another warband of 'dumb' goblins, as will the selection of bugbear-only feats and spells. Fear not, however, as there are plenty of tactics and equipment items that can benefit adventurers who choose to root out hives of evil containing bugbears. I am told The Slayer's Guide to Bugbears came out of the gate pretty quickly, so some gamers may be lucky enough to find it in their local stores by the end of this week.

Encyclopaedia Arcane: Battle Magic - The Eldritch Storm
From a personal point of view, this is one of my favourite books yet. Battle Magic goes far beyond evocation magic and brings an eldritch holocaust to adventures. Learning the ways of the Battle Mage and Eldritch Warrior, arcane spellcasters can now access the most lethal of magicks contained within The Book of War. Full rules are given for harnessing these mighty spells, as well as for the construction of magical ordnance and war golems. The battlefield may never again be safe for the humble warrior.

Cities of Fantasy: Stormhaven - City of a Thousand Seas
Debuting Patrick Younts appearance in the Mongoose line-up, Stormhaven continues where Skraag left off, depicting a mighty floating city set adrift in the ocean. A centre of trade and intrigue, Stormhaven is packed full of exciting characters, locations, maps and rumours, all ready for the players' ship to dock alongside and explore this truly massive and multi-layered settlement.

Keep gaming!

Any more city guides planned in the near future I really like Skraag too.
