As always, Mongoose will be attending Gen Con, and I think this year it will be difficult to miss us - at stand 1003, we are right in front of the centre entrance! We will have lots of new goodies available for you to check out, including... Designers & Dragons - Complete history of RPGs In conjunction with RPG.net, Mongoose is releasing a very limited run of this mighty, 440-page, leatherbound tome, which details just about every RPG company ever to have existed since the earliest days, along with the games they produced, the personalities involved, and various spin-offs in the worlds of miniatures, card and board games. We will only have 50 copies available at the show, so grab them while they are on the stand! A Call to Arms We will be running demo games of A Call to Arms: Noble Armada every day at noon, and we will have some new ships and fleets available for the first time. There will also be an unveiling of the first models for A Call to Arms: Star Fleet and, if you manage to track down the secret password, you may find you have access to something more... The NeXus Files Penned by Jonny Nexus, this pocket-sized book is a hilarious collection of his ruminations on RPGs throughout the years, and is well worth a look. Van Graaf's Journal of Dragons For fans of Pathfinder, this hardback is our first entry to support the popular RPG, and forms the first in a new line of Journals written by the legendary explorer and adventurer, Van Graaf. Age of Treason Many people have been waiting for this one, a brand new setting for RuneQuest II and Legend, created by Jonathan Drake, the gentleman behind the Primeval TV show. Sword Worlds Traveller players will be interested in checking out this supplement, bringing the Sword Worlds to life in your games, together with new rules on creating suitable characters from this area of the Marches. Crystal Raiders As always, we will have the very latest Earthdawn supplements and sourcebooks available, and Gen Con will be your first chance to get hold of Crystal Raiders. Ant Assault/Devil's Dice We will be showcasing our first family card and dice games, as well as having previews of what else will be coming this year in these lines. Stars Without Number The hit indie sci-fi RPG will be on sale for the first time in its revised form, and we welcome everyone to have a look at this Old Skool game. We will also have some of the games and miniatures designers of Mongoose at the stand, so swing by for a chat and feel free to ask impertinent questions! We all look forward to seeing you at the show.
