Message: <blockquote data-quote="Mongoose_Matt" data-source="post: 952175" data-attributes="member: 239">Hi guys,There comes a time when we have to just hold our hands up and say 'this is the way things are.'  I am, of course, talking about the release schedule of the new Babylon 5 RPG line.There is something of a joke among licensors that a very real Babylon Curse exists for these projects - no matter what safeguards are taken, something always seems to conspire against any work that has 'Babylon 5' as part of its title.  The RPG has been no exception.  However, we thought we had it licked.  The rulebook was good and ready to go at the beginning of this year and the supplements were well in hand.  We had produced nearly 100 books before Babylon 5 was due for release.  We thought we had seen it all.Unfortunately, we have had a succession of problems, minor and major, that have consistently conspired to throw a multitude of spanners into the works.  All seemed to have just one aim in mind - to delay the release of the Babylon 5 RPG!  Not one of our other lines were touched by these problems.  Hmm. . .I am not a superstitious person by nature, but the Babylon Curse seems to be a very real thing!  However, it is also clear that Faith Manages.  Not much longer to wait now, I promise.We are officially knocking back the release schedule of all B5 titles by approximately two months.  So, the main rulebook and Fiery Trial now have a release date of July (should be sometime in the middle, but remember that Babylon Curse - it would no longer surprise me if a Vorlon fleet swooped down from the sky and confiscated a whole truckload full of these books), Coming of Shadows will be out in August and the Earth Alliance Fact Book (which is turning into a _stunning_ hardback supplement) will be due early September.Still, they say the best things are worth waiting for. . .Be seeing you,</blockquote>
