Hi guys,

The all new Armageddon 2089 RPG main rulebook is now at print and on course for a late March release - and it looks an absolute cracker! Over the next few weeks up to the launch of this hard sci-fi mech-based game, I'll be doing a few previews of the rulebook to show you all just how good everything looks!

Now, you'll have to forgive me for the low-res PDFs I have done for these previews - however, the file size is very low and a far cry from the file's true size in the rulebook itself!

First up, we have the Introduction to the game (including a chapter list), and a mek we have not yet released to the puiblic eye - along with a special little treat :)

Impressive, most impressive.

It looks visually very appealing, that is except for the personality profile, the head of the person looks flat. I think a digitally rendered head would have been more apropriate, maybe even a photo...

Overall, excellent! Have allready preordered it!

Argggh! It's not March yet!!! :)

This looks really good Matt! I can't wait to see the finished product.

Thanks for the previews and keep them coming!

Cergorach - I actually wanted to use photographs for the various personalities of the setting, not least because they will be fully fleshed out people with the advent of the novels, just a couple of months behind the release of the main game. Unfortunately, there always comes a time with a game when you have to call it done and dusted - or else it would never get released. Or, as our editor puts it; 'stop making any more ^%&*ing changes, Matthew!'

However, plenty of supplements are planned for Armageddon 2089, taking a look at every aspect of both society and war so, you never know, I may get my wish in the end. . .

Matt - Editors are evil! Don't listen to them (to much), they'll only corrupt the pure perfectionist with sick toughts, like compromise (yugh!).

Wouldn't this fall under the responsibility of the art director? Ah, but i remember, there where a lot of late additions, so the art director must have been caught with his/her pants down ;-)

I'm looking forward to this for a good read and lots of eye candy!
