Hi guys, Another month comes into view, so that must mean more releases from the Mongoose! First, a quick word about some of our past books - a few of you have been asking where Target: Mega-City One, Brit-Cit, Quintessential Psychic Warrior and Quintessential Druid are. Well, we had some problems at the printers that stalled these books, but they have all been resolved and if they are not in you local game stores now, they will be very soon! Fortunately, these problems should not plague us again, and so everything looks like it is back on schedule for Deecmber and January! For December, we have the following releases which should make excellent treats under the Christmas Tree if you can persuade friends and family to contribute to your favourite hobby! The Quintessential Samurai - Written by Sam Witt (Cleric, Chaos Magic & Battle Magic, among many others), The Quintessential Samurai is a multi-purpose book, allowing you to add a flavour of the oriental to existing Samurai classes, basic Fighter, Paladin and Ranger classes, or the new core class presented in this book. Packed with all the goodness you expect from the Quintessential series, this book is at the printers right now, so expect a full preview soon! Incidentally, we are rather proud of the artwork in this book, and a PDF of some of the best can be downloaded from the Free Material section of our web site. The Slayer's Guide to Yuan-Ti - This has to rank as one of the most complete Slayer's Guides we have every published. In fact, we had a hard job trying to squeeze it all in! Written by Chris Jones and Michael Babbitt, this enigmatic race gets the full Slayer's Guide treatment, allowing Games Masters to portray this insidious evil in a way his players will never forget. The Rookie's Guide to Crazes - Marc Farrimond has been aiding the Judge Dredd RPG ever since the project began, but this is his first solo rules supplement, and a real cracker it is too! Taking a detailed look at the most popular crazes to have swept Mega-City One, players and GMs alike can now find complete rules to hold their own international Supersurf Championships, compete in dangerous Scrawl Wars and even risk the dangers of Eating Contests. Ever wanted to be a fatty? Everything you need is in here! The Sessair - We have received a lot of good feedback from the Fir Domain, the first 32 page supplement covering the tribes featured in the Slaine RPG, so we just had to do another. I suspect this is the book many fans have been waiting for, as it details Slaine's own tribe, the Sessair. Jam-packed full of new characters, magic, feats, as well as never before seen background information, it also features Slaine himself, throughout the various stages of his life. If you have a character who belongs to the Sessair or are running a scenario that features them, this supplement has to be essential! The Ragnarok Book - The epic Horned Lord and Moon Sow campaign builds towards it climax in this, the third book in the series. Written by Slaine guru Debbie Gallagher, The Ragnarok Book will catapult players into the heart of Tir Nan Og and beyond, setting the scene for the final episode, The Way of the Horned God, available in January. Happy gaming and, most of all, Merry Christmas!
