Wyrd Editions will start production with the book Necromancy, the release date will be announced before March 2002. "We are very pleased that we are able to produce Mongoose books and, at the same time, offer many new ideas and services that fit so well with Mongoose’s goals," stated Massimo Cranchi, Wyrd RPG line business and production manager. "We will continue many of the things that are proven winners with Mongoose, and hopefully, bring some new directions that everybody will enjoy as well". Elisabetta Albini, President of Wyrd Editions, is overjoyed at this turn of events, "We couldn't be happier with this new addition to our work load. Seriously, I think that the Mongoose works are fine publications with much to offer to the d20 System world, for its offers a wide spectrum of information and news on all facets of gaming". Wyrd Editions, while new in the publishing arena as a company, is made up of industry veterans with years of experience in publishing both games and periodicals. All members have in many ways worked in the Dungeons & Dragons area and for the D20 system.
