Mongoose Publishing is good at games, but bad at marketing. Can you help? We are looking to fill the position of, for want of a better term, Grand Architect of Marketing. For nearly 25 years we have done very little marketing at all and yet have managed to build ourselves into a leading tabletop RPG company. Imagine what we could do if we had an actual marketing person. Mongoose needs someone to build a company-wide marketing strategy from scratch and enact it. This will require someone who can work autonomously, setting their own goals, and acting with full responsibility and authority. In return, we will pay you a base salary of £33,000 with excellent bonuses and useful perks, including a company car. If you stay with us, you will end up owning your own games company as we transition to full and equal employee ownership. We are looking for someone with strong marketing experience, preferably in the tabletop gaming industry, with good ideas that will push game lines such as Traveller and Paranoia to new heights. What we care about

Must be a gamer. If you do not understand games, you will not be able to market them.
Must be able to work from our Swindon office in the UK. You will not just be marketing, we will also be teaching you how to run a company that you will one day own.
Must be able to build Mongoose's Marketing from the ground up, with the authority and autonomy to do so.
Should have experience working in and/or marketing tabletop games.
Should be aware of SEO, Social Media, Marketing emails/newsletters, etc.
Should be able to plan convention stands and trips, both in the UK and abroad.
Should be able to represent Mongoose Publishing in all forms, worldwide.
What you care about

£33,000 base salary.
Bonuses paid out monthly, from an equal share of company profits.
Company vehicles, tax, insurance, MOTs and driving lessons paid for.
Making decisions at the core of the company and how we run.
Free snacks, drinks and a home-cooked lunch every day.
Company trips, which you can choose.
PAYE tax advice paid for by the company, with employee-focussed accountants.
Free TTRPG books and games.
If you are interested, please send a CV and covering letter to msprange@mongoosepublishing.com
