Hi guys,
The latest supplement for the Lone Wolf RPG, Magic of Magnamund is out in your local games stores and books shops right now!
The purpose of this rules supplement is to throw open the doors of sorcery in Magnamund wide open and to give both players and Games Masters a variety of new options for characters, encounters and scenarios. To this end, author August Hahn has searched the entire Lone Wolf background to bring you the very best in magical arts. . .
The meat of the book is concentrated around the new character classes. As fans of the RPG will know, a character class in this game is far more than a set of stats and special abilities, and each of these thoroughly examines a whole new area of magic. Players will be introduced to the Cener Druid (a lot of people have asked for this!), Herbalish, Kundi Mystic, Sage of Lyris, Shadakine Wytch/Wytch Chyld, Shianti Sorcerer (again, you asked for it, don't blame us
) and Vakeros Knight. Added to the Brother of the Crystal Star and Magician of Dessi, and you could have a veritable party of magic-users, all following vastly different disciplines. . .
Two Advanced Classes are also featured, the Emissary and Agent, two characters allied to spellcasting organisations but not necessarily full blown magic wielders themselves. A perfect career opportunity for that out of work Gunner of Bor. . .
There are also rules for creating simple magic items, along with some sample items players can use as guidelines. Such items are far from the likes of the legendary Sommerswerd but players will find these magical trinkets time-consuming and exhausting enough - great magicks do indeed exist in Magnamund but they are rarely the province of mere mortals in the current age.
Magic of Magnamund is priced at $21.95 and is available now from all good games stores and book shops.
