It never rains but it pours, as they say. Here at Mongoose, we have had several rather incredible occurances all happen at once to delay several books. Between printer troubles and customs, we have been fighting to get April's releases out but it looks like we are finally making some headway. All of April's overdue books are ready for imminent shipping to distributors and all (I repeat, all) of May's books are currently on schedule. Many of you have been mailing us with specific titles in mind, so I'll give you a thorough breakdown of what is happening here.
The Quintessential Bard - printed, in the warehouse and ready to go! This book will be going to distributors on Monday and so will be available to order by your local games store soon after.
Encyclopaedia Arcane: Divination - the same, out to distributors on Monday and then ready to order by games stores.
The Slayer's Guide to Derro - will be going out to distributors one week after Bard and Divination.
The Ultimate Games Designer's Companion - some rather incredible problems have delayed this book! However, it is halfway through its printing process right now and will be available mid-May.
The Quintessential Gnome - on target for a mid-May release.
Power Clsses III - the third set of the Power Class booklets (Pirate, Alchemist, Cabalist and Fool) are just going to print right now and will be ready for a mid-May release.
Encyclopaedia Arcane - again, just going to print, will be ready mid to late May.
Armageddon 2089 - never in the history of RPGs have so many problems with printers and customs combined to delay one book! However, stand by. . . Armageddon 2089 Total War is at the warehouse right now and is available to distributors on Monday! Start bugging your local games store as this RPG is getting very good reports from those few who were able to pick up early copies from UK Gen Con.
War Machines of 2089 - many of the same problems that plagued Armageddon 2089 also caught this book. They have now been resolved but War Machines of 2089 will not hit the games stores until late May. Because of this, the entire Armageddon 2089 line has officially had its release schedule bumped down a month.
Babylon 5 RPG & The Fiery Trial - don't worry, the Babylon 5 RPG and its supplement are still on schedule for release in the last week of May. Look out for it, it is a cracker! We will be doing some PDF previews from the main rulebook over the next few weeks on the run up to its launch and look out for the forthcoming Babylon 5 section of our web site.
Speaking of our web site, we are undergoing yet another move (don't you just love technical problems?). This should be completed within a week or so and the site will be fully updated with all new info and previews at this time.
