Mongoose - question on policy?

Are there any plans for introducing new monster races in any of your forthcoming supplements? I note that the Slayer's Guides are all about expanding on MM entries, rather than re-writing, does this hold true for your other lines?

Indeed - many of our books (Stormhaven, Skraag & Seas of Blood, to name three off the top of my head) have new monsters. In addition, the Slayer's Guides will not always be doing well-known creatures, and we may well be throwing in the odd curved ball there too. . .

Definitely check out Seas of Blood and Necromancy: Beyond the Grave. Erica and I did the monsters for those books, so ya know they gotta be good.

(But- the books themselves, even without the monsters, are good, especially the Seas of Blood ship rules. Very well done.)

Thanks for replying so quick guys!

I've got all three books mentioned, and I agree, marvelous stuff. I was thinking more along the lines of a new race being the focus of a book, perhaps one of the Cities series? Something like Voltan's flying city of Birdmen out of Flash Gordon perhaps, or something along similar lines.

Ah, yes - we have a couple of projects in the pipeline right now that run in very similar veins to what you suggest!
